Launch Competition Midpoint: Standings, Case Drops, and Reset Strategy

About This Blog

The MyFundedPerps Launch Competition crossed its midpoint this week, and the myfundedperps competition leaderboard is where every participant is now living. The event runs from September 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM to September 28, 2026 at 12:00 PM New York time, which leaves several trading days to climb into the top 100 or defend a prize rank. This article covers how the standings actually work, what the daily case drops have delivered so far in structural terms, and how to think about your remaining resets.

One thing up front: we are not publishing specific standings or calling winners here. Final results are based on closing equity after the event ends on September 28, and anything before that is a live snapshot, not an outcome. Check the competitions page at myfundedperpetuals.com/competitions for your current position.

How the MyFundedPerps competition leaderboard works

Every participant trades a separate $100,000 competition account. There is no profit target, no drawdown limit, and no daily loss limit that can end your run. Standard fees, swap fees, slippage, liquidation, leverage caps, and exposure caps still apply, so the risk management rules from the myfundedperps-markets-guide and our myfundedperps-account-limits article remain relevant even without a hard breach.

Ranking mechanics:

  • Highest account equity at close wins. Equity includes unrealized P&L, so open positions count at their marked value.
  • Ties break on win rate. Win rate is winning closed trades divided by all closed trades. An account with no closed trades has a zero win rate.
  • The leaderboard refreshes roughly every three minutes. Do not panic-refresh; your position updates on that cadence, and the Share Leaderboard Card in the leaderboard header generates a branded image with your rank, equity, volume, win rate, prizes, username, and avatar.

Because equity is the ranking metric, the competition rewards a different posture than a normal evaluation: there is no floor to protect, only upside to build. But liquidation still exists, and a blown-up account near zero equity is functionally out of contention without a reset.

Daily case drops: structure and remaining draws

Separate from the top-100 prizes, a daily case draw runs at 10:00 AM New York time from September 16 through September 28, for 13 drops in total. Each draw uniformly selects 250 distinct participants from the top 1,000 at that snapshot's leaderboard, and you can win at most one case per drop while remaining eligible on later days.

The full case distribution:

Two details matter at the midpoint. First, eligibility snapshots come from the top 1,000, so holding a leaderboard position inside that band keeps you in every remaining draw even if the top 100 is out of reach. Second, cases land in your existing rewards inventory; if fewer than 250 participants are eligible on a given day, every eligible participant receives one case.

Reset strategy for the final stretch

You can reset your competition account three times in total, with at least 24 hours between resets, and only while the competition is live. A reset restores equity to $100,000. Trade statistics, leaderboard history, and case-drop eligibility and history are all preserved. Before resetting, close every open position and cancel working orders and TWAPs.

How to think about resets with days remaining:

  1. A reset is an equity tool, not an eraser. Your history stays. Use a reset when your current equity has no realistic path back to prize contention, not to hide a bad session.
  2. Respect the 24-hour spacing. If you burn a reset today, the next one is not available for at least a day. With the event closing September 28 at noon New York time, count backward and make sure your last possible reset still lands with enough live trading time to matter.
  3. Do not reset a top-1,000 account lightly. Case-drop eligibility rides on your leaderboard snapshot. Dropping back to $100,000 flat can push you down the table and out of draw range while other participants hold gains.
  4. Resets only exist while live. Once the competition closes, unused resets are worthless. If you are deep underwater on the final day, there is no reason to save one.

What the top 100 are playing for

Each winning rank receives both a MyFundedPerps account and a MyFundedFutures Rapid account, with 100 accounts from each provider totaling $10 million in account funding (account balances, not cash):

Winners see both redemption codes on the competition page once final results settle; the MyFundedPerps code redeems through the platform's existing code-redemption flow and only the winning user can redeem it.

Fair-play note: standings count genuine, independent trading only. Multiple accounts, coordinated copying, or exploiting stale prices leads to disqualification and can end platform access.

If the competition is your first taste of the platform, myfundedperps-pricing-plans covers challenge pricing (the PERPS code still takes 20% off through the end of September 2026), and how-to-pass-myfundedperps-evaluation is the place to start converting a prize account into payouts, covered in myfundedperps-payouts-guide.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I see the current competition standings?

The live leaderboard is on the competitions page at myfundedperpetuals.com/competitions. It refreshes approximately every three minutes. Final results are based on closing equity after September 28 at 12:00 PM New York time, once closing scores have settled.

How are ties on the leaderboard resolved?

Equal equity is ranked by win rate: winning closed trades divided by all closed trades. Higher win rate wins. If both are equal, a stable participant identifier determines the order.

How many resets do I have left?

Each participant gets three resets in total, spaced at least 24 hours apart, usable only while the competition is live. Your Competition Account panel shows your remaining reset availability.

Do I need to be in the top 100 to win anything?

No. The daily case drops draw 250 distinct participants from the top 1,000 leaderboard snapshot each day through September 28. Holding a top-1,000 position keeps you eligible for the remaining draws.

Do resets wipe my statistics or case-drop history?

No. A reset restores equity to $100,000 but preserves trade statistics, leaderboard history, and case-drop eligibility and history.
