Launch Competition Final 48 Hours: What Closing Equity Means for Prizes
The MyFundedPerps competition prizes are settled by one number: your account equity at the close. The Launch Competition ran from September 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM to September 28, 2026 at 12:00 PM New York time (EDT), and everything came down to where each $100,000 competition account stood when the clock ran out. This article explains what closing equity means, how the prize structure works, and what happens next for the top 100. It does not report standings or winners; final results appear on the competitions page at myfundedperpetuals.com/competitions once closing scores have settled.
What closing equity means for MyFundedPerps competition prizes
Ranking is simple to state and easy to misunderstand. The highest account equity at the close wins. Equity includes unrealized profit and loss, so open positions count at their closing mark. Two accounts with equal equity are split by win rate: winning closed trades divided by all closed trades, with the higher win rate taking the better rank. An account with no closed trades has a zero win rate. If equity and win rate are both equal, a stable participant identifier determines the order.
The live leaderboard refreshed roughly every three minutes during the competition, but positions on that feed were never final. Final results use closing equity only, and prizes become available after closing scores have finished settling. That means a rank seen at 11:55 AM on the last day was a snapshot, not a result.
The rules that still applied during the final 48 hours
Competition accounts carried no profit target, no drawdown limit, and no daily loss limit that could end a run. That freedom did not extend to costs or market mechanics. Standard trading fees, hourly swap fees, slippage, margin liquidation, leverage caps, and exposure caps all still applied. Exposure caps and leverage figures are as of September 2026 and may have changed since; the live list is at myfundedperpetuals.com/exposure-caps.
Fair-play standards also applied right to the close. Standings count genuine, independent trading only. Operating more than one account, copying or coordinating trades across accounts, or exploiting stale prices and platform errors leads to disqualification and can end platform access. The full prohibited-conduct list is in the Terms of Use.
Resets and why they mattered in the last two days
Each participant could reset a competition account three times in total, with at least 24 hours between resets, and only while the competition was live. A reset restored equity to $100,000 while preserving trade statistics, leaderboard history, and case-drop eligibility and history. The 24-hour spacing had a practical consequence in the final stretch: a trader who burned a reset late on September 26 had one realistic last reset window before the September 28 noon close. After the competition closed, resets were no longer available at all.
The top 100 prize structure
Every winning rank receives two accounts: one MyFundedPerps account and one MyFundedFutures Rapid account. There are 100 accounts from each provider, totaling $10 million in account funding. Account sizes describe trading-account balances, not cash payments.
Winning users see both redemption codes on the competition page when final results are available. The MyFundedPerps code redeems through the platform's existing code-redemption flow and can only be redeemed by the winning user. The Rapid code is redeemed with MyFundedFutures. Daily case drops through September 28
Separate from the top 100 prizes, a daily case draw ran at 10:00 AM New York time from September 16 through September 28, 13 drops in total. Each draw uniformly selected distinct participants from the top 1,000 at its leaderboard snapshot, with 250 cases per drop and 3,250 cases across the run:
A participant could receive at most one case per drop but could win again on other days. Cases land in the existing rewards inventory. Because eligibility came from the top 1,000 snapshot each morning, holding a leaderboard position inside the top 1,000 mattered even for traders outside the top 100 prize ranks.
What to do now that the competition has closed
- Check the competitions page for final results once closing scores have settled; leaderboard snapshots taken during the final hours are not the official outcome.
- If you placed in the top 100, redeem both codes promptly: the MFP code in-platform, the Rapid code with MyFundedFutures.
- Check your rewards inventory for any case drops from the September 16-28 draws.
- If you plan to trade a won or purchased evaluation next, review myfundedperps-rules-explained and how-to-pass-myfundedperps-evaluation before placing your first trade.
Frequently asked questions
When are Launch Competition results final?
Final results use closing equity at September 28, 2026, 12:00 PM New York time and become available after closing scores have finished settling. Live leaderboard positions during the competition refreshed roughly every three minutes and were never final.
Does unrealized profit count toward my final rank?
Yes. Equity at the close includes unrealized profit and loss, so open positions were marked into your closing equity. Ties on equity go to the higher win rate, then a stable participant identifier.
What exactly does the first-place winner receive?
Rank 1 receives a MyFundedPerps Signature 100K account plus a MyFundedFutures Rapid 150K account, a combined 250K in account funding. All prize sizes are trading-account balances, not cash payments.
Did resetting my account remove my case-drop eligibility?
No. A reset restored equity to $100,000 but preserved trade statistics, leaderboard history, and case-drop eligibility and history. Resets were limited to three total, at least 24 hours apart, while the competition was live.
Where do I redeem my prizes?
Both redemption codes appear on the competition page when final results are available. Redeem the MyFundedPerps code through the platform's existing code-redemption flow (only the winning user can redeem it) and the Rapid code with MyFundedFutures.
