MyFundedPerps vs Propr: Which Crypto Prop Firm Deserves Your Challenge Fee?

About This Blog

Crypto-native prop trading is no longer a niche. Two names come up constantly when traders want a simulated funded account on perpetual futures: MyFundedPerps and Propr. Both let you prove your edge in an evaluation, then keep the majority of your rewards on a simulated account.

But they are built on different philosophies. Propr is an on-chain platform on Hyperliquid infrastructure, with multi-asset perps and a formal rulebook. MyFundedPerps is a crypto-native program backed by an established futures prop firm, built around three 1-Step evaluation plans, static drawdowns, and 130 markets at launch spanning crypto, stocks, FX, indices, and commodities.

This comparison breaks down how each firm works and which type of trader each suits, using only verified, dated data.

Quick take: Propr is a credible on-chain option with on-demand payouts and no consistency rule. MyFundedPerps is our pick for most crypto perp traders: backed by the team behind My Funded Futures, with three simple 1-Step plans, daily payouts from $100 gross, no consistency rule, and 80% to 90% splits. Propr makes sense if you want on-chain verifiability or a $20 payout minimum.

How MyFundedPerps works

MyFundedPerps is a crypto-native simulated prop program from the team behind My Funded Futures, an established futures prop firm with a multi-year payout record across thousands of traders. In an industry where the biggest fear is passing and never getting paid, that history is a real trust signal.

The structure is deliberately simple: three 1-Step plans in four sizes ($10K, $25K, $50K, $100K), differing only in risk parameters (list price / PERPS launch price):

  • Select: 9% profit target, 3% daily loss limit, 3% static drawdown. $40 / $100 / $190 / $360 list, or $32 / $80 / $152 / $288 with PERPS.
  • Prime: 12% target, 3% daily loss, 5% static drawdown. $60 / $160 / $300 / $595 list, or $48 / $128 / $240 / $476 with PERPS.
  • Signature: 10% target, 3% daily loss, 6% static drawdown. $90 / $225 / $430 / $870 list, or $72 / $180 / $344 / $696 with PERPS.

PERPS is a 20% launch discount through the end of September 2026. All rule percentages are based on the starting balance, never current equity, and there is no time limit, no minimum trading days, and no consistency rule at any stage.

The drawdown is static and never trails equity highs. On your first funded withdrawal, the max loss limit locks permanently to the starting balance: on a $100K Signature the floor moves from $94,000 to $100,000 and stays there forever.

On the funded side, the split is 80% standard, or 90% with a +20% checkout upgrade (PERPS applies to the upgrade too). Payouts run once per funded account per calendar day, $100 gross minimum, via Rise, with no consistency rule, no payout count cap, and no lifetime cap.

Market coverage runs to 130 markets at launch (September 2026; figures may have changed since): 10x on BTC and ETH, 8x on SOL, BNB, and XRP, FX at 50x, indices up to 12x, stocks 5x, most altcoins 3x. Commissions are 0.03% per side on crypto, with an hourly swap of 0.03% per day and a 0.1% liquidation penalty. News trading is unrestricted in the evaluation; funded accounts have a 4-minute restricted window around red-folder events.

How Propr works

Propr (propr.xyz) is an on-chain prop platform built on Hyperliquid, offering perpetual futures across crypto, equities, commodities and FX, with more than 140 instruments. Traders choose from four tracks per size: 1-Step Classic, 1-Step Turbo, 1-Step Pro and 2-Step Classic, across six sizes from $5K to $200K USDC.

The rules vary by track. Classic runs a 10% profit target, 3% daily loss limit, 6% static max drawdown. Turbo tightens to a 9% target with a 3% static drawdown. Pro, added in early August 2026, asks for a 12% target with a 3% daily limit and a 5% static drawdown. The 2-Step Classic uses 5% then 10% targets, a 5% daily loss limit and an 8% trailing high-water-mark drawdown. All tracks have no time limit, no minimum trading days and no consistency rule, which is genuinely trader-friendly.

Leverage is capped per asset class: 5x on BTC and ETH, 2x on other crypto, 25x on FX. The split is a flat 80%. Payouts are on-demand with a $20 minimum, 24-hour processing, and full sweep only, meaning no partial withdrawals, paid 100% in USDC on-chain. KYC is not required to start but is required before the funded account activates. An aggregate cap of $300K applies.

Pricing runs from $60 for a $5K Classic up to $1,998 for a $200K Classic, with Turbo cheapest at every size ($25 to $899), Pro in between ($45 to $1,399), and the 2-Step Classic from $50 to $1,499.

On eligibility, Propr opened to UK traders on August 3, 2026 and US traders on August 4, 2026, per announcements on its official Discord and X. As of mid-August 2026, neither the Terms, rulebook nor FAQ lists the US or UK as restricted, though some older third-party reviews still show the old exclusions.

One transparency point, stated factually: as of August 14, 2026, Propr's official rulebook had not yet been updated to include the Pro track or the $200K Diamond tier, both of which appear on the live homepage pricing module. This is a documentation lag, not an accusation of bad faith, but traders who rely on the rulebook as the single source of truth should be aware of it.

Key differences

  1. Drawdown mechanics. Propr offers static drawdowns on all 1-Step tracks (3% to 6%) and a trailing high-water-mark drawdown on the 2-Step, which ratchets the floor up with equity highs and punishes early winners. MyFundedPerps uses static drawdowns everywhere (3% on Select, 5% on Prime, 6% on Signature), and the floor locks to your starting balance after your first withdrawal, one of the most predictable structures in the industry.

  2. Leverage philosophy. Propr caps crypto leverage hard: 5x on BTC and ETH, just 2x on all other crypto, which many altcoin traders will find restrictive. MyFundedPerps offers, as of launch day in September 2026 (figures may have changed since), 10x on BTC and ETH, 8x on SOL, BNB, and XRP, 5x on DOGE, TRX, and HYPE, and 3x on most other altcoins, with published per-market exposure caps.

  3. Payout structure. Propr's on-demand payouts with 24-hour processing and a $20 minimum are excellent, but full sweep only means no partial withdrawals. MyFundedPerps allows one request per calendar day with a $100 gross minimum via Rise, and retained profit stays on the account as a balance buffer. Propr wins on minimum size and on-chain settlement; MyFundedPerps wins on flexibility.

  4. Profit split. Propr is a flat 80% for everyone. MyFundedPerps starts at 80% with a 90% option via a +20% checkout upgrade, and discount codes apply to the upgrade price. On a $10,000 payout, that difference is worth $1,000.

  5. Track record and backing. Propr is a newer, independent platform whose A-booked flow is verifiable on-chain, a genuine transparency innovation. MyFundedPerps counters with the team behind My Funded Futures, a different, battle-tested kind of assurance.

Which should you choose?

Choose MyFundedPerps if you are a crypto perp trader first and foremost: 24/7 markets, 130 markets at launch with sensible altcoin leverage, static drawdowns that lock to your starting balance, daily payouts, an optional 90% split, and the reassurance of the team behind My Funded Futures. For most traders, that is the stronger package, and it gets our verdict.

Choose Propr if you value on-chain verifiability of A-booked flow, want the smallest payout minimum ($20) with 24-hour USDC settlement, or want FX, commodities and equity perps alongside crypto on one account with no consistency rule. That is an honest, legitimate fit for the right trader.

Whichever you pick, read the current rules on the official site before paying. For Propr, check the pricing module rather than the rulebook for the newest tracks.

Frequently asked questions

Is Propr available in the US and UK?

Yes. Propr opened to UK traders on August 3, 2026 and US traders on August 4, 2026, per its official announcements. As of mid-August 2026, neither the Terms, rulebook nor FAQ lists the US or UK as restricted. KYC is required before funded access.

Is MyFundedPerps available in the US?

Yes, the US is supported. A restricted-country list of 30 jurisdictions exists (including, for example, the Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, Ukraine, and Kenya), but the US is not on it.

Does either firm have a consistency rule or time limit?

No, on both counts. Neither firm has a time limit, minimum trading days, or a consistency rule on any plan. Both are genuinely trader-friendly here.

How do the payout systems compare?

Propr pays on demand with a $20 minimum, 24-hour processing, full sweep only, in USDC on-chain. MyFundedPerps allows one request per funded account per calendar day, $100 gross minimum via Rise, with no payout count or lifetime cap. Propr's floor is lower; MyFundedPerps is more flexible about what stays in the account.

Are the funded accounts real capital?

No. Both firms run simulated funded accounts on real market data, with rewards based on simulated performance. Challenge fees buy evaluation access, not deposits.

Which firm is better for altcoin perpetual traders?

MyFundedPerps. As of launch (September 2026, figures may have changed), it offers 8x on SOL, BNB, and XRP and 3x on a long tail of alts across 130 markets. Propr caps non-BTC/ETH crypto leverage at 2x, which many altcoin traders will find limiting.
