MyFundedPerps Commissions: Per-Fill Costs for Crypto, Forex, Stocks, Indices, and Commodities
Every order you fill on MyFundedPerps carries an execution fee, and over an evaluation those fees quietly decide whether you pass or fail. MyFundedPerps commissions are charged per fill on both entry and exit, at rates set by asset class: 0.03% for crypto, 0.0025% for forex, and 0.005% for stocks, commodities, and indices. This article shows the exact math, how commissions interact with your loss limits, and where they fit in total trading cost.
The commission rates by asset class
Maker and taker fills pay the same rate within each asset class. A passive limit order gets no discount, and the market's source venue (Hyperliquid, Binance, Bybit, or Lighter) does not change the rate either. The asset category alone sets the fee:
The fee is calculated from fill notional: the filled quantity multiplied by its execution price. That is the full value traded, not the margin you posted. The formula:
Commission = fill notional x commission percentage / 100
Partial fills are pro-rated, so a half-filled $10,000 crypto order costs $1.50, with the remainder charged when (and if) the rest fills.
Entry plus exit: the round-trip cost
You pay once when opening or increasing a position and again when reducing or closing it, each time on the notional that actually fills. The clean example: a $10,000 crypto position costs $3.00 to open and $3.00 to close, or $6.00 total commission on the round trip.
At the same $10,000 entry and exit notionals:
- Crypto: $6.00 round trip
- Forex: $0.50 round trip
- Stocks, commodities, indices: $1.00 round trip
If the exit notional differs from the entry, the exit fee is computed on the exit's actual notional. A $10,000 crypto position that grows to $12,000 before you close costs $3.00 in and $3.60 out.
Two properties worth internalizing:
- Leverage is irrelevant to the fee. Changing leverage changes margin, not notional. An identical fill at 2x or 10x pays the same commission.
- Bigger notional, bigger fee, linearly. There are no volume tiers or discounts. Costs scale directly with size.
What commissions do to your loss limits
Commissions reduce your account balance the moment they are charged, and therefore shrink the headroom available under your loss rules. On a MyFundedPerps evaluation, the numbers that matter are:
- 3% daily loss limit on every plan, measured on equity from the start-of-day snapshot (resets midnight New York time).
- Static max drawdown of 3% (Select), 5% (Prime), or 6% (Signature), measured from the starting balance and never trailing.
On a $100K Select account, the total risk budget to the drawdown floor is $3,000. A trader running $500,000 of crypto round trips pays $300 in commissions per round trip at 0.03% per side. Ten such round trips burn $3,000, the entire drawdown allowance, without a single losing tick. That is the mechanical reason overtrading crypto at large notional fails challenges even with a decent win rate.
The math is far friendlier in forex and traditional markets. At 0.0025%, the same $500,000 forex round trip costs $25, and at 0.005% stocks, indices, and commodities cost $50. If your strategy is fee-sensitive, the asset class you trade matters as much as the edge itself. The myfundedperps-markets-guide article lists all 130 launch markets by category, and myfundedperps-static-drawdown explains the floor mechanics in detail.
Commissions in total trading cost
Commission is only one of three cost layers:
- Commission: fixed per fill, rates above.
- Swap fees: hourly holding costs on open notional, 0.03% daily for crypto, 0.015% for stocks/commodities/indices, 0.005% for forex, charged on the UTC hour boundary to both longs and shorts.
- Spread and slippage: market orders fill at the top of book with tiered slippage caps that act as ceilings, not guarantees; forex fills at mark price.
There is also a 0.1% liquidation penalty added on top of the taker fee if a position is liquidated, one more reason to manage margin proactively.

Budgeting commissions into a passing plan
A practical way to plan, using a $100K Prime evaluation (12% target, 5% drawdown) as the frame:
- Decide your expected number of round trips to target. Say 40.
- Multiply average round-trip notional by the round-trip commission rate. $200,000 notional x 0.06% (crypto both sides) = $120 per round trip, or $4,800 over 40 trades.
- Compare to the risk budget: 5% of $100K is $5,000 of drawdown allowance, and the $12,000 target must also absorb swap fees and slippage.
If the fee load eats the allowance before the strategy does, either reduce round trips, reduce notional, or shift toward forex and traditional markets where per-fill costs are 6 to 12 times cheaper than crypto.

Frequently asked questions
What are the MyFundedPerps commissions per asset class?
Crypto is 0.03% per fill, forex is 0.0025% per fill, and stocks, commodities, and indices are 0.005% per fill. Rates are as of September 2026; check the docs for current values.
Do limit orders get a maker discount?
No. Maker and taker fills pay the same rate within each asset class. A passive limit order costs the same as a market order of identical notional.
Is commission charged on margin or notional?
On notional: filled quantity times execution price. Leverage changes the margin requirement but never the commission on an otherwise identical fill.
Do I pay commission on both entry and exit?
Yes. Opening or increasing a position is one charge, and reducing or closing is another, each on the notional that fills. Partial fills are pro-rated.
Do commissions count toward the daily loss limit?
Yes. Commissions debit your account balance immediately, reducing headroom under both the 3% daily loss limit and the static max drawdown, exactly like a realized loss.
