Card vs Crypto Payments: The 92-Country Card Restriction List Explained
Choosing between the MyFundedPerps payment methods is simple for most traders: card or crypto at checkout, whichever you prefer. For traders in 92 countries, though, the choice is already made. A payment-method restriction list blocks card checkout in those jurisdictions and routes purchases to crypto only. This is not an eligibility ban, and it trips up a lot of people who confuse it with the separate 30-country restricted list. Here is what the list is, which countries appear on it, and how crypto checkout actually works.
MyFundedPerps payment methods at checkout: card vs crypto
Checkout supports card and cryptocurrency payment options when available, and availability is driven by your billing country and the payment provider. The decision logic is automatic:
- If card payments are supported for your selected billing country, you see both options and pick one.
- If card payments are not supported, checkout automatically selects Crypto, disables the Card option, and explains the restriction on screen. You continue by paying from your own wallet.
Either way, the evaluation account is issued after successful payment verification, and the order appears in Purchase History with its paid, pending, failed, or refunded status. MyFundedPerps does not display or store the payment credentials you enter into the secure provider fields.
The 92-country card restriction list
The current MyFundedPerps FAQ records 92 card-payment-restricted countries, as of the September 2026 documentation snapshot. The official payments graphic published by the firm names the countries shown below, and the FAQ confirms the full list runs to 92 jurisdictions, including Brazil, India, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Turkiye, Czechia, and Romania:
Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belize, Benin, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, China mainland, Colombia, Comoros, Czechia, Cote d'Ivoire, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Lithuania, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Malta, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mongolia, Morocco, Niger, North Macedonia, Oman, Romania, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, and Turkiye.
Three facts matter more than the names:
- This is a payment-method restriction, not an eligibility ban. Traders in these countries can register, buy evaluations, trade, and receive payouts exactly like anyone else. They simply pay in crypto.
- It is entirely separate from the 30-country restricted list, which does block participation. A country can appear on the card list without being restricted, and the US appears on neither list. Our restricted countries article covers that list in full.
- Lists like this change with payment-provider coverage. Checkout always reflects the current state, so trust what the checkout screen tells you over any snapshot, including this one.
How crypto payment works in practice
When the crypto option is shown (or auto-selected), follow the provider's displayed payment instructions exactly: the payment method, network, amount, and expiry all come from the provider interface. A few mechanics worth knowing before you send anything:
- Wait for confirmed payment. A submitted or partial payment does not by itself issue a challenge.
- MyFundedPerps sends one Complete Your Purchase email per new crypto invoice. You can reopen the invoice from that email, from Purchase History, or from an open checkout; reopening it does not create a duplicate order or send another email.
- Settlement shortfall allowance: for new crypto checkouts, MyFundedPerps can absorb a small settlement shortfall of up to 0.5% of the amount due, capped at $1. This covers tiny network or conversion differences; it does not change the order price, and the provider still has to confirm the payment succeeded.
- Unpaid invoices can be cancelled from the payment page. Once funds are arriving or processing, cancellation may be unavailable, so check status or contact support with your order number before sending anything else.
Payment result states
Store credit and the crypto minimum
If store credit is enabled on your account, it applies automatically after any discount, with no code needed. Two crypto-specific rules shape how credit behaves:
- For crypto checkout, credit either covers the full order or leaves at least $16 to pay in crypto. If using all your credit would leave less than $16 due, checkout applies less credit and keeps the rest in your balance. Example: a $100 discounted order with $95 of credit uses $84 and leaves $16 due, with $11 of credit remaining.
- If the order itself is below $16, crypto payment is unavailable unless credit covers it completely. Card payments have no such store-credit cap, where cards are available.
Store credit comes from, among other things, converting payouts: the store-credit portion of a payout receives a 10% boost ($100 becomes $110 in credit) and cannot be withdrawn as cash afterward. See myfundedperps-payouts-guide for the payout side.
Conduct rules around payment methods
Whichever method you use, payment methods must comply with the platform's payment and verification requirements. Stolen, unauthorized, fraudulently obtained, or improperly shared payment information is prohibited. MyFundedPerps may request verification when the cardholder or payment-account holder name differs from the account holder. Payment methods may not be shared across accounts to conceal common ownership, create duplicate accounts, abuse promotions, or avoid fraud controls.
Refunds, where eligible, return to the original payment method: you can request one within 48 hours of purchase, only if the challenge has had zero trading activity (including accessing market data), and an approved refund is the amount paid minus a non-refundable $25 fee.

Frequently asked questions
My country is on the card restriction list. Can I still trade?
Yes. The 92-country list restricts card payments only. You can register, purchase with crypto, trade evaluations, and receive payouts normally. It is not an eligibility restriction.
What is the difference between the 92-country list and the 30-country list?
The 30-country list is a participation ban: residents of those jurisdictions cannot use the platform at all. The 92-country list only removes the card option at checkout, leaving crypto as the payment method.
Can I switch from crypto to card after checkout has started?
Only if card payments are supported for your billing country. Where they are not, checkout disables the Card option automatically and explains the restriction.
What happens if my crypto payment is slightly short?
For new crypto checkouts, MyFundedPerps can absorb a settlement shortfall of up to 0.5% of the amount due, capped at $1. The provider must still confirm the payment before the challenge is issued, so always pay the exact amount shown.
Do discounts work with crypto payment?
Yes. A valid checkout code discounts the list price once, including the 90/10 split upgrade, and store credit applies automatically after the discount. Only one code applies per order; codes do not stack.
